The Collections and Recovery Risk teams mission is to assist customers who need to bring their accounts current or fairly resolve their debt. The team owns strategy and policy and partners closely with the Operations and Technology teams on implementation and execution. Through this partnership, members of our strategy team have a great opportunity to put new strategies in place and see tangible impacts of their work to assist customers.
This position is within the Branded Cards Collections Contact Strategy team, which is responsible for managing Digital contact strategies related to Brands ex Costco, Costco, consumer and business card.
Key Responsibilities include:
Hypothesis development, analysis, test design, test vs. control analysis, development of recommendations, and oversight of implementation
Identifying new strategies and efficiencies in collections
Designing tests and rollout strategies
Conducting P&L analysis
Developing , validating and/or reviewing management reporting
Partnering with others (both inside & outside the team) to implement and assess strategy changes
Qualifications include a 4 year degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Graduate degree is desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years of Credit Cards experience or related analytic experience using quantitative analysis.
Experience working with and extracting value from large, disconnected and/or unstructured datasets
Experience with the following tools and technologies : Hadoop and object oriented scripting languages such as Python
Experience with SQL programming in a UNIX environment
Establish solid cross-functional partnerships and networks to contribute and execute cross-functional and business initiatives.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills, thought leadership and should be comfortable working with ambiguity
