Responsible for the coordination of the stores on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging and delivering customer orders; and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for staging, shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.
Stocks the parts stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise.
Responsible for inventory control.
Deliver parts to customer locations or job sites.
Practices safe material handling techniques, regularly using pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, material carts, and rolling ladders.
Filing of M/S s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged goods.
Manages receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.
Responsible for identifying excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy.
Keep warehouse area and parking lot area clean and orderly/neat.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience a plus.
Ability to read and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Good communication skills.
Must posses basic math skills. Ability to perform these basic operations using units of American money and weight measurement, and volume.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver s License
Forklift Certification a plus

This position works in a typical parts store/warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud. Temperature in the warehouse varies between 50 and 95 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 95 degrees.
Pay rate from $10.00/hour to $12.00/hour depending on experience. Forklift experience is a plus.
