About the Job
The Warehouse Office Clerk position is responsible to the processing all warehouse documents as it relates to the clients general cargo; assists with warehouse office support and follows general procedures and instructions, execute transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing warehouse office assistance and support by checking-in drivers
- Enter receivables into software system, answer e-mails timely and enter data to create the manifest for airway bills and necessary reports
- Support the Warehouse Associate Team and Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager
- Excellence in Customer Service, both internal and external customers
- Record receipt of documents and use of Windows based order entry system
- Schedule workload based on established management priorities
- Ability to successfully communicate – both verbal and written
- Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to efficiently solve problems
- Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks
- Must be organized
- Must have the ability and maturity to work independently of direct supervision
- Must have team orientation and portray a commitment to task(s).
- Support with special projects as deemed necessary
Job Requirements:
- Minimum: High School or Technical degree
- Proven basic math skills at the high school level
- 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse environment working in administrative duties or warehouse/manufacturing
