WORKDAY PAYROLL OPERATIONS MANAGER

SUMMARY
This managerial position operates under the general direction of the Director of Payroll Services and manages the US payroll support team including time-keeping and payroll processing. The person must possess extensive broad knowledge of all aspects of time and attendance and payroll systems. The position will be responsible for ensuring payroll technology processes are advanced as well as maintaining system documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of 10 Payroll Analysts.
- Manages the day-to-day time-keeping and payroll processes.
- Supports the company’s leadership values and encourages a positive working relationship within the Payroll department and with other departments of the company.
- Plans coordinates and manages the activities of the functional payroll support staff.
- Responsible for all aspects of the time and attendance system functions to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all payroll transactions, auditing and reporting.
- Establishes and oversees auditing procedures to assess the effectiveness of controls, the accuracy of payroll records, and efficiency of operations.
Ensures compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and procedures. - Evaluates and recommends changes in methods and procedures related to the time and attendance payroll function in order to ensure the efficiency of operations.
- Responsible for payroll system support in order to ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy.
- Develops and maintains departmental procedures and system test methods.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years payroll experience in a managerial role
- CPP preferred
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
