Our Warehouse Operations team is one of the most vital departments in the company. We have a dedicated team of receivers who receive up to 200 loads per week. Our picking crew uses state-of-the art voice pick equipment and they pick several thousand pieces per week. Due to our unique customer service model, we can guarantee next day delivery to our customers which keeps our warehouse operations team very busy 24 hours per day!

Job Description: This position requires to drive and maneuver yard goat and trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers to keep production moving. Perform pre and post trips daily, chock rear wheels and be aware of safety hazards in all weather conditions, and check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors. Driver must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting and taking direction from dispatchers, or warehouse managers on a consistent basis through radio and on board computer system.
-Perform inspection of vehicle prior to and after operation
-Moves trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
-Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-Orderly maintaining of the yard
-Provide efficient flow of trailers and spaces by driving and maneuvering yard truck and trailers from dock to dock switching out empty trailers with full trailers and/or within the designated areas as required by operations to keep production moving.
-Operate Yard Truck in a safe manner during numerous trailer/door change procedures daily involving loaded and empty trailer/containers
-Communicate professionally with all levels of personnel (staff, customers managers, staff, etc.)
-Assist with yard check
-Check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors
-Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned
- Valid Class A License
- Valid Medical Card
- Current H6 (Driving Record from the DMV)
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally
